Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at Cafe Caturra on Midlothian Turnpike. Past meeting
topics have included:
- Good nutrition for children
- Managing your finances
- Home organization
- Cake decorating
- Short-cut suppers

Join us for some indoor fun, breakfast and a surprise show!
Tues. March 4th, MAM monthly meeting
at Cafe Caturra on Midlothian Turnpike, 7:00pm
We will be discussing "Hobbies" at this meeting, so bring examples of your favorite hobbies and be prepared to answer
questions or show off your skills! This should be a lot of fun..please let me know if you are planning on attending
so I can be sure to reserve a large enough table. This would be a great evening to get all our members together so we
can finally all meet each other!

Monday, March 24th, Mom-N-Tot Spring Break outing to Maymont, 9:45am-???
Come early and enjoy either Pond Hop, Scavenger Hunt, or Diggin for Dino. Then we'll meet up for a picnic lunch
at noon around the nature center. Please note that you will need to pre-register if you would like to attend or have your
child attend the special programs.

Splash on over
to Maymont for a hopping good time! Parents and their pollywogs will play games, make a craft, and visit some of Maymonts
pond pals. For ages 3-5; children must be accompanied by an adult. $8 for
one parent and child pair/$6 for members. Space

SCAVENGER HUNT: HISTORY IS EVERYWHERE
Monday, March
24, 10am, Maymont House Museum
Look for lions in the grotto and towers in the sky! Enjoy an exciting morning exploring
the grounds and gardens at Maymont with clues to lead you on a history scavenger hunt. $5 per person. Register in advance;

DIGGING FOR DINOS
Monday, March 24, 10am & 11am, Nature Center
How big was a T-rex tooth?
Did cavemen and dinosaurs exist at the same time? Children ages 5-9 learn the answers as they explore the world of dinosaurs
and other prehistoric creatures. Playing the part of a
paleontologist, kids will dig through sand to find fossils
and learn what these artifacts can tell us of an earlier time. $8 per chld/$6 for members. Registration required by

Just a scheduling note, we've decided that for the
time being, our meetings will be held on the first Tuesday evenings of the month, the exception
being April when our book club is meeting that first Tuesday. It works better on Tuesdays because Cafe Caturra doesn't
have live music on those nights.
So, some dates to be looking ahead for are Tuesday,
March 4th: Mothers and More meeting at Cafe Caturra at 7pm, with the theme being "Hobbies". We were also thinking
of doing an evening open house that night to catch some moms who may not have their children with them. If anyone has
any interest in coordinating this, please let me know!
Another upcoming event is our Easter Egg Hunt, tentatively
scheduled for Mar. 19th (yes, we know it's during Spring Break, but there isn't a better time with St. Patrick's Day and Easter
being so close together!). I will send out an official March calendar in a few weeks!
